Localities

Dan worked with localities across the U.S. on a wide range of issues. He helped them think through strategies to remove impediments to great placemaking and to create sustainable comprehensive plans. He assisted in developing sustainable economic programs for parks and green spaces as well as programs for ecodistricts and eco-industrial parks. He also worked on programs for the integration of wildlife in human habitat so that both humans and wildlife could thrive. Dan assisted localities with challenging redevelopment programs and the preparation of RFP’s for district development.

He was responsible for the legal compliance of new Smart Codes and Form-Based Codes in numerous coding teams, several of which won awards.
