Dan has been a speaker for decades and has delivered over one hundred talks and presentations across the United States, as well as Canada, Mexico, China, India, Turkey, and Kazakhstan. Dan is seeking paid speaking, training, and presentation opportunities, either virtual or at in-person events. He is comfortable with any size audience, and can accommodate any form of broadcast. Dan can speak on, and can offer presentations and trainings regarding, a wide variety of topics, including storytelling, sustainable communities, and community governance.

At the moment, his signature presentation is “The Role of Local Wildlife and Dark Skies in Making Places We Love.” In this presentation, Dan talks about how understanding the night sky and local wildlife can benefit the intrinsic and extrinsic values of a community. Related presentations include, “Greening your HOA” and “The Value of a Dark Night.”

Dan has been on the boards of numerous nonprofits and has advised both national and international NGOs. He can provide inspirational training on storytelling, starting a new nonprofit, how to achieve high-performance behaviors, and a host of other topics.
