Tax and Commercial Transactions
David has extensive experience advising clients regarding tax advantaged sales of property and businesses, with particular emphasis on tax deferred exchanges under Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code and installment sales under Section 453. He has lectured on these subjects to bar, accounting and real estate groups.
David has practiced in both small and large firm settings, and as outside and inside counsel to Fortune 500 and other national companies. He has also served in profit center and staff management roles in tandem with his role as inside counsel. His wide-ranging experience in business, real estate and tax provides a broad lens through which he views a client’s business and legal issues and provides comprehensive solutions.
